Role Overview :
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Business Development Manager to spearhead our expansion into the UK market. As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales, building strategic partnerships, and achieving growth objectives. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute effective sales strategies, focusing on end-to-end sales, to establish a strong presence in the UK market.
Key Responsibilities :
Market Penetration : Identify, assess, and capitalize on new business opportunities in the UK market, leveraging the full range of IT, Cloud, Embedded, AI/ML, Automotive, and Telecom services.
Sales Strategy : Develop comprehensive sales strategies and tactical plans to achieve business targets and revenue goals for the UK market. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the industry.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the UK market. Understand client needs, pain points, and challenges to offer tailored solutions that add value to their businesses.
Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their individual and team objectives. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.
End-to-End Sales : Take ownership of the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, opportunities, and deal status using CRM tools.
Networking and Partnerships : Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with relevant industry players, vendors, and consultants to expand the company's market reach.
Market Research : Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify industry trends, customer preferences, and emerging opportunities.
Budget Management : Work closely with the leadership team to set and manage the sales budget for the UK market, ensuring optimum utilization of resources.
Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular sales performance reports and present them to the senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and actionable insights.
Qualifications and Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience in B2B sales and business development, with a minimum of 5 years in the IT services sector.
- Experience in selling IT, Cloud, Embedded, AI/ML, Automotive, or Telecom services is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in managing and leading sales teams to achieve ambitious targets.
- Strong understanding of the UK market dynamics and business culture.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools and sales management software.
