Manager - Business Development - IT (5-10 yrs)
As the Sales and Business Development Manager for the US, Europe, and ANZ regions, you'll be at the forefront of our expansion efforts. This role is crucial in generating new business, nurturing client relationships, and strategically positioning our solutions in international markets. We are seeking a self-starter with a proven track record in SaaS sales, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the global market landscape.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead Generation & Pipeline Development: Identify, qualify, and convert new sales leads in the US, Europe, and ANZ regions. Build and manage a strong sales pipeline to ensure consistent deal flow.
- Market Strategy & Expansion: Develop tailored sales strategies that align with each region's specific market dynamics, customer needs, and industry trends to optimize conversion and market share.
- Client Engagement & Relationship Management: Cultivate long-term relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor to align their business needs with our solutions.
- Sales Execution: Drive the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation, closing, and onboarding, ensuring a smooth handoff to customer success teams for retention and growth.
- Collaborative Growth: Work closely with marketing, product, and support teams to develop campaigns, product roadmaps, and customer engagement strategies that support sales objectives.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Provide regular and accurate sales forecasts, track performance against KPIs, and report on sales activities, achievements, and challenges.
- Competitor Analysis: Continuously monitor competitor activity, staying informed of market shifts and refining sales approaches to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications :
- Experience: 5+ years in SaaS sales, with a proven record of driving growth in international markets, specifically in the US, Europe, and ANZ.
- Sales Acumen: Demonstrated expertise in consultative selling and solution-based sales, particularly in cloud-based solutions. Ability to negotiate and close sales deals.
- Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of SaaS buying trends, customer behavior, and industry-specific challenges in the target regions.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with proficiency in English. Experience engaging with diverse, international clients and stakeholders.
- Goal-Oriented: Highly motivated with a drive to exceed sales targets and achieve ambitious revenue goals.
- Tools & CRM Proficiency: Skilled in use of LinkedIn, CRM tools (such as Salesforce, HubSpot), Social Media Marketing tools and data analytics for sales pipeline management and forecasting.
- Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and able to adjust strategies based on evolving market conditions.
