Manager - Business Development - IT (4-8 yrs)
Job Objective
- The BDM will work directly with the CEO, founder and other senior leaders of the company.
- S/he will fuel the growth of the company through sales and partnership opportunities.
- Our technology has the potential to transform the way organizations worldwide operate. We are looking for BDMs who are excited by their core proposition and are able to communicate it effectively to clients.
Key Responsibilities
Contributing to all major aspects of first-time client engagements, including:
- Researching client prospects and prioritizing engagements
- Attending client pitches to excite and educate prospects
- Identifying business opportunities within prospective client organizations, developing them into leads and closing them successfully
- Pursuing legal, technical, and commercial approvals with client prospect organizations
- Developing strong relationships with existing clients to mine for new business opportunities
- Exploring other partnership types that could generate substantial revenue for the organization
Candidate Profile
- BE / B Tech + MBA with 3-6 years of client experience, ideally with executive presence and a track record of sales impact.
Expected Skills
- The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial in nature, with a deep commitment to outstanding client satisfaction.
- B2B / enterprise software sales experience (an absolute requirement)
- Maturity to lead presentations and discussions with Fortune 500 leaders
- Deep fascination of technology and a willingness to learn
- Capacity to take sound decisions independently under time-sensitive conditions
- Outstanding organizational skills and process-oriented thinking
- Infectious energy and enthusiasm (another absolute requirement)
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with excellent document preparation skills
