Manager - Business Development - IT (4-15 yrs)
Responsibilities :
- Familiarizing yourself with all the services offered by our company.
- Procuring new clients through direct contact (Callings & emails, etc.), word-of-mouth, and collaboration with teammates.
- Generate leads from online portals like LinkedIn, Upwork, Guru, Freelancer, PPH, Glassdoor, AngelList, Craigslist, etc.
- Building business relationships with current and potential clients
- Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions; responding to client requests for proposals (RFPs)
- Attending networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients.
- Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients; maintaining a database (Salesforce, CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information
- Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients; closing sales and working with the client through the closing process
- Meeting all quotas for cold, active, inactive calls, appointments, and interviews; meeting or exceeding annual sales goals
- Maintaining a pipeline of all sales administration using CRM software
- Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short- and long-term business development plans
Requirements:
- Must have a strong track record of success within sales, ideally within the IT industry.
- Intuitive and insightful, particularly regarding human behavior.
- Ability to generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable products or services.
- Highly goal-oriented and possess excellent communication (written and verbal) & interpersonal skills
- Experience in staff augmentation.
- Professional yet affable disposition.
- Resourceful, with outstanding research and networking skills.
Note : Need to have proven past experience in IT industry only.
