Manager - Business Development - IT (3-9 yrs)
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Business Development Manager will be responsible for revenue generation
- Drive prospect and acquire brands for the platform by closing deals with the best brands
- Understanding the brand proposition, negotiating with the brands on commercial agreements and setting proper expectations.
- Overseeing the onboarding process for new brands on to the platform and working with various
stakeholders inside and outside for quick turnaround.
- Building strong communication channels at all levels of the brand to strengthen relationships, successfully execute initiatives and drive growth.
- Constantly create opportunities for up-sell and cross-sell different product modules and services to brands and retail companies
- Engage brands to improve product adoption, thereby positively impacting revenue stream for the company
- Requires problem-solving and ideation process to overcome hurdles and adhere timelines for the project launch
- Partner closely with product teams to devise the product solution as per the client's need.
- Staying updated on retail and digital trends.
- Out of the box thinking to find newer ways of shopping and building exciting journeys for customers
Competencies
- Strong understanding or interest in the Retail/ E-commerce, brand awareness, trends
- Assisting senior team members in identifying opportunities to capture new brands and working with the Insights team to craft a compelling pitch to get the brands on board.
- Good negotiation skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple clients at a time while paying attention to details
- Strong presentation skills to front end with brands business meetings.
- Good Understanding of retail and e-commerce business
- Work in a fast-paced environment in a rapidly growing organization
