Manager - Business Development - IT (3-4 yrs)
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) with 3 to 4 years of experience in IT lead generation to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in identifying and nurturing leads, developing client relationships, and driving business growth in the IT sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation:
- Proactively identify and generate new leads through various channels, including online platforms, cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
- Develop and execute lead-generation strategies tailored to the IT industry.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Act as a point of contact for client queries, ensuring prompt resolution and satisfaction.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Create and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business growth objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competition, and client needs.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
Pipeline Management:
- Maintain an organized and updated sales pipeline to track prospects, leads, and opportunities.
- Use CRM tools to manage data, track interactions, and analyze the sales process.
Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with the marketing and technical teams to align sales efforts with overall business goals.
- Provide regular reports on lead generation, sales metrics, and client feedback to management.
Negotiation & Closing:
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize revenue while maintaining client satisfaction.
- Ensure successful handover to project delivery teams post-sales closure.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 3 to 4 years of proven experience in IT lead generation and business development.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Technical Knowledge: Understanding of IT services, software solutions, and technology trends.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, generate insights, and make informed decisions.
- Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to close deals and negotiate effectively.
- Tools: Proficiency in CRM software and lead generation tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
