Manager - Business Development - IT (2-8 yrs)
Job Position: Business Development Manager
Location: Chennai (Nungambakkam)
Responsibilities:
- Drive sales revenue through new client acquisitions in the assigned region.
- Identify and Prospect new business acquisitions for e-commerce platform SaaS product.
- Target potential customers in the B2C Online Retail, D2C segments and B2B segments.
- Engage with potential brand owners and merchants with customized product offerings.
- Actively manage the sales process including lead generation, presenting, and contract negotiations and closing sales.
- Consistently achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and performance metrics contributing to product growth
Required Skills:
- Relevant experience in selling e-commerce applications, ERP or any other software solutions to the retail and D2C business segment.
- Experience in selling to the indian markets.
- Possess exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to express complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Deep understanding of ecommerce platforms and services, with an innovative mindset to explore new ways the platform can serve customers.
- Proactive, result-oriented, and willing to go the extra mile to achieve success.
- A self-motivated hustler, eager to contribute to the growth of a high-potential start-up.
