Manager - Business Development - IT (2-4 yrs)
- The Cloud Infrastructure Business Development Manager (Azure) is responsible for achieving monthly, quarterly and annual goals by managing a territory and/or a named list of customers by means of in-person/virtual interactions. Along with the Inside Account teams, the BDM will build direct relationships with customer organizations on Microsoft Azure solution opportunities.
- Required skills include evaluating market for a new business opportunity, key account management, maintaining relationship with existing clients, implement defined marketing strategies, to achieve targeted sales.
- This role is ideal for candidates who can commit to field work, and enjoy travelling, solution selling, are achievement-oriented and believe in performance rewards for exceeding sales goals.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of work experience in similar positions.
- Relevant sales or technical certifications will be given preference.
- Consistent achievement of sales quotas and ability to work under pressure to achieve sales targets.
- Experience in the following product/solution areas will be given preference:
- Cloud, including Office 365, Azure, AWS, IBM Cloud.
- 2+ years overall experience in full cycle sales. Must have prior experience closing deals.
- Should have strong in-person, phone, and written customer communication skills.
- The ability to make formal and informal presentations to clients.
- Should have operated independently on sales revenue targets.
- Experience in working with CRM a plus.
- Must be detail oriented and flexible.
- Retention, Enhancement & Deepening relationships with the clients
- To implement defined marketing strategies, to achieve targeted sales, to ensure increase market share. To develop and maintain close rapport with customers. Should have the ability to work cooperatively in a team & proactive temperament.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Account Management and well accustomed to a client-facing role.
