Role: Business Development Manager

As a business development manager, you'll identify new business opportunities in order to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow.

Responsibilities :

- Manages one or more large-scale business intelligence and business applications IT projects from beginning to end.

- Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.

- Seek out the appropriate contact in an organization. Generate leads and cold call prospective customers

- Support in organizing online meetings, prepare portfolio presentations with prospective customers/clients

- Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients

- Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these requirements

- Draw up client contracts - deploy and manage resources on projects to ensure smooth delivery

- Have a good understanding of the businesses' products or services and be able to advise others about them

- Ensure staff are on board throughout the organization, and understand the need for change and what is required of them

- Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the management and execute them timely.

- Attend seminars, conferences and events where appropriate

- Take up any activity related to business development, including creation of company websites, GTM material, sales pitches etc.

- Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world.

Skills and Experience

- Excellent client management and business literacy skills; ability to clearly communicate with both IT and business users.

- Experience in managing BI solutions and related business development experience, is a a plus:

- Relational Database and SQL Language

- Have a sound understanding of ETL design using ETL tools to extract data from heterogeneous data sources

- Engaged with business users to gather requirements and design/architect large Data warehouse using the SSRS / SSIS tools

- Data Warehouse / Power BI / Cognos TM1/ Solution Design

- Ability to work in virtual mode and coordinate with resources across geographies and time-zones.

- Self driven, highly motivated individual with ability to connect with customer's senior IT leadership and generate leads and business opportunities.
