Job Brief :
- We are seeking an ambitious and dynamic Business Development Manager to assist us in expanding our clientele. You will be the face of the firm and will be dedicated to developing and implementing a successful sales strategy.
- The objective is to achieve long-term financial success through increasing revenue and developing strong client connections.
Responsibilities (high level) :
- Identify potential clients in the target market and complete appropriate research on the prospective client's business and equipment needs
- Develop relationships with prospective clients, while maintaining existing client relationships
- Partner with other stakeholders to create contract-winning proposals for current and prospective clients
- Negotiate contract terms with clients and communicate terms to stakeholders
- Collaborate with production and delivery teams to ensure contracted product/service specifications are executed on-time and as agreed
- Become a subject matter expert on our business products, processes and operations, and remain up-to-date on industry news
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives
- Hire, train, and oversee the performance of junior and mid-level sales staff.
Requirements and skills :
- Minimum 6+ years' experience in this space.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in related field
- Experience working in BPO, Outsourcing/Offshoring, Mortgage, Title companies is preferred.
- Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
- Proven sales track record
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and
Access and industry-specific analysis software
- Basic understanding of the industry, with the ability to become a subject matter expert on the job
- Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose solutions for clients
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
- Excellent organizational skills.
