Manager - Business Development - Insurance (2-6 yrs)
We're seeking a motivated and results-oriented Senior Sales Manager to lead our Agency Channel and drive sales growth through a network of independent insurance agents.
You'll play a pivotal role in building strong partnerships, developing our agents' capabilities, and ensuring they achieve their full potential.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of insurance advisors within your assigned territory.
- Recruit, onboard, and train new agents, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets for your agency network.
- Motivate, coach, and mentor agents to improve their sales performance, product expertise, and customer service skills.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to help agents grow.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with agency principals, identifying and addressing their needs.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
- Monitor and maintain agent compliance with company policies and regulations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in any stream
- Minimum 2-6 years of experience in Corporate Sales, B2B Sales, Pharma Sales, Telecom Sales, or others
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and motivate individuals to achieve their goals.
- Experience in building and managing successful partnerships.
- Ability to travel as needed.
