Manager - Business Development - Insurance (2-3 yrs)
Job Overview :
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving growth for the company. This role requires a combination of strategic thinking, sales expertise, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities : Research and identify potential clients/customers and market segments. Develop strategies to approach and engage with key decision-makers.
- Lead Generation and Prospecting : Utilize various channels such as cold calling, networking, and digital marketing to generate leads and expand the company's client base.
- Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients/customers. Understand their needs and objectives, and propose solutions/services that align with their goals.
- Develop and Present Proposals : Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored proposals and presentations for prospective clients/customers. Present solutions effectively, addressing client requirements and objections.
- Negotiation and Closing : Negotiate terms and pricing agreements with clients/customers. Close deals in a timely manner while ensuring mutual satisfaction and profitability.
- Market Analysis and Strategy : Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities. Use this knowledge to develop strategic plans for business growth and expansion.
- Collaboration and Teamwork : Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and product development to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
- Reporting and Performance Tracking : Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and performance metrics. Generate regular reports and insights for management review.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably within the [industry/sector].
- Strong understanding of sales principles, strategies, and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients/customers.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and develop effective business strategies.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience : Min 2 Years Experience from insurance and Agency only
