Manager - Business Development - Insurance (2-2 yrs)
Job Summary :
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead our sales and business expansion efforts in Davangere. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of field sales experience, preferably in BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance), FMCG, Retail, or B2B sales. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients to drive sales.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets.
- Conduct meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth sales operations and customer satisfaction.
- Manage and track sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends.
- Expand the company's market presence in Davangere and surrounding areas.
- Ensure timely follow-ups and closure of high-value sales leads.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and performance metrics in CRM tools.
- Participate in promotional activities, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 2 years of field sales experience, preferably in BFSI, FMCG, Retail, or B2B sales.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to generate leads, acquire new customers, and close sales.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and proactive in business development.
Ability to analyze market trends and implement effective sales strategies.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Davangere.
