Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and versatile individual to join our team as an Business Development Manager. This role involves a dynamic mix of administrative, operational, and sales responsibilities. The ideal candidate will oversee operations at current facilities, oversee construction at new locations, and follow up on leads to identify and secure new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative & Operational Oversight:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of existing facilities to ensure smooth functionality.
- Coordinate with staff to ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of facility and equipment.
- Generate regular reports on facility performance and suggest improvements.
Construction & Development:
- Oversee the construction process at new locations to ensure timely and quality completion.
- Ensure adherence to budgets and project timelines.
Sales & Business Development:
- Follow up on leads to identify potential new locations.
- Develop and nurture relationships with potential clients, landowners, and institutions.
- Negotiate and finalize agreements for managing and operating new locations.
- Represent the company at meetings, events, and presentations to promote the brand.
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Assist in the implementation of marketing strategies to boost memberships and bookings.
- Identify opportunities for partnerships and collaborations to expand our footprint.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in administration, sales, or operations (preferably in sports or hospitality sectors).
- On-field sales experience
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Willingness to travel to various locations for sales, site visits and meetings.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of sports facilities management is a plus.
- Previous experience in business development, door to door sales and venue operations is a plus.
- Knowledge of Padel Tennis and Pickleball is a plus
