Job Summary :

The Project Sales Manager for Furniture is responsible for generating and managing sales of furniture products for various projects such as corporate offices, educational institutions, hospitals, hotels, and residential buildings. The individual in this role is expected to manage and lead the sales team, as well as develop and implement sales strategies to meet sales targets.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop sales strategies to meet sales targets for furniture products in various projects.

- Lead and manage the sales team to ensure they are meeting their targets.

- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in the project space, including architects, interior designers, and procurement managers.

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base and increase revenue.

- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to stay up-to-date with the latest products and services.

- Prepare sales reports and provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance and market trends.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and participate in trade shows and events to promote furniture products.

- Work closely with the design team to ensure that furniture products meet the needs of clients and project specifications.

- Negotiate pricing and contract terms with clients and suppliers to ensure profitable sales for the company.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.

- At least 5 to 10 years of sales experience in the furniture industry, with a proven track record of meeting sales targets.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and the sales team.

- Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate the sales team to achieve their targets.

- Knowledge of project sales and procurement processes in the furniture industry.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

- Willingness to travel frequently to meet with clients and attend trade shows and events.

- Knowledge of furniture design and construction is a plus.
