Manager - Business Development - Freight Forwarding/Logistics Firm (2-5 yrs)
We are Hiring Business Development Manager Freight for our organization - a Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Company to be stationed at Greater Noida to look after the Business Development of freight operations across Delhi/NCR - to help them accelerate their growth and develop a larger market presence.
Job Responsibilities :
- Responsible for developing a plan to achieve freight sales target in his/her territory.
- Responsible for carrying out prospecting calls.
- Responsible for onboarding new customers, business potential analysis, background check.
- Responsible for establishing and managing relationships with customers in need of the firm's freight transportation services.
- Work jointly with the commercial team to make the best proposal to the customer keeping the profitability.
- Maintain consistently positive interactions to nurture customer relationships
- Take ownership of customer issues and follow-through till resolution
- Represent the firm in negotiating and building a relationship with shippers and carriers
- Responsible for aiding successful pick-up and delivering, and over-the-road assistance.
- Perform Cold-calling and work to build a book of businesses.
- Responsible for revenue collection of his/her territory.
Job Location : Greater Noida/Ghaziabad
Qualification :
- Graduate
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in any courier/cargo company as a sales team member.
- Should have an existing customer base.
Required Skills :
- Good listener and effective communicator.
- Effective negotiation ability.
- Capable of error-free MIS reporting, excel, and analyzing numbers.
- Self-motivated.
