Manager - Business Development - Freight Forwarding Firm (3-8 yrs)
Position: Business Development Manager
Requirements:
1. Should have 3-8 Years of work experience in freight forwarding and ocean freight
2. Proven experience as a Sales Executive or relevant role
3. Hands-on experience with CRM software is a plus
4. Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
5. Fast learner and passion for sales
6. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations
Roles and responsibilities:
1. Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
2. Actively seek out new sales opportunities
3. Acquisition and retention of customers and increase client base.
4. Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services
5. Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
6. Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences
7. Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections
8. Collaborate with team members to achieve better results
9.Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
