Manager - Business Development - Freight Forwarding (5-13 yrs)
Job Description :
- Process Inquiries for Air & Sea Freight Shipments (Air & Sea freight - Origin & Destination charges) and interact with overseas branches.
- Preparation of Quotations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Report Sales activity into the Sales Force System.
- Maintain Sales Visit Plan.
- Maintain List of customers on assigned trade lane and assist colleagues within sales dept. to promote respective trade lanes.
- Negotiate and Close deals.
- To work towards achieving set Sales KPI's of the Branch/ Assigned trade lane and work towards achieving overall branch CM1 sales target
- To jointly work with the team in Trade lane development.
Skill sets & qualifications :

- Skills/Knowledge/Competencies
- Market knowledge of Logistics industry.
- Strong Selling and communication skills
- Should be Computer Savvy.
- Should have Relative strengths in Selling Import /Export Air and Sea Freight Cargo
Expected years of experience :
- Minimum 5 years of Experience in Logistics Industry.
Educational Qualifications :
Should be a Graduate and Preferably with a Degree in Logistics and Marketing
