Manager - Business Development - Food & Beverage Sector (3-10 yrs)
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to oversee recruitment and drive growth in our expanding bakery units across India. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry, specifically in business development, sales, or recruitment roles. This position is critical in achieving our strategic expansion goals and enhancing our presence in the bakery sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Market Expansion:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand bakery units in targeted regions across India.
- Develop strategies for increasing market penetration and enhancing brand presence in various territories.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, partners, and franchisees.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition:
- Oversee recruitment processes to ensure the selection of high-caliber talent for bakery units, including bakery staff, management, and operational roles.
- Collaborate with the HR team to develop job descriptions, screening criteria, and interview processes that meet the operational needs of the business.
- Ensure alignment of talent acquisition strategy with business expansion goals.
Market Research & Competitive Analysis :
- Conduct market research to identify growth opportunities, trends, and challenges in the bakery and Food & Beverage industry.
- Analyze competitors and adapt strategies to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Develop and execute sales plans to meet revenue targets in existing and new regions.
- Work with regional sales teams to develop promotional activities and offers that drive footfall and boost sales.
