Manager - Business Development - FMCG/Consumer Product/Beverages (5-12 yrs)
- We are hiring for a Business Development Managerfor a leading&growing consumer products brand.
Locations : Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkata & Delhi
Job Objective :
- Responsible for driving volume, value and market share of the products through Institutional/Horeca/CSD Sales across the country; thereby maximising sales revenues from the various product lines; expansion of the customer base and creating a strong brand value.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement the sales and distribution strategy for the Institutional/Horeca/CSD Sales to increase the volume for products.
- Cascade the annual budget into region wise into quarterly operating plan and monthly targets. Also plan activities for achievement and build commitment of all team members towards it.
- Develop and implement the BTL activities like schemes, incentives and initiatives to promote sales to ensure promotions and visibility across all the locations in the country.
- Responsible for creating new accounts and business, covert avenues for activations and promotions and also negotiate the terms of trade with new businesses and facilitate the development of infrastructure and systems of new accounts.
- Execute the brand and channel activation programs to build and connect with customers and consumers. Identify regional avenues and opportunities for creating an impact for brand.
- Coordinate with the human resources team and recruit, induct, train, motivate and evaluate the sales force to keep the team committed.
- Responsible for collecting data, market information on competitor activities and plan channel strategies accordingly.

Level of Education : Post Graduate Diploma/MBA or equivalent in sales and marketing
Experience : 5+ years of experience in sales and distribution with at least 3 years in experience in institutional sales
