Manager - Business Development - FMCG (4-5 yrs)
Business Development Manager
Responsibilities :
- Maintain, develop and expand long-term Business relationships & achieve the targeted sales revenue.
- Responsible for developing strategies for portfolio planning, pricing, product-gap analysis, competition analysis, etc.
- Business planning includes sales forecasting, budgeting, and value chain management along with Finance.
- Ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network.
- Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
- Create and maintain key account relationships, Drive opportunities directly and with partners by regular visits.
- Facilitate the generation of data, processes, mechanisms and guardrails to improve the seller partner experience.
- Track and monitor key metrics for business growth and help in improving the overall consumer experience, in collaboration with other stakeholders.
- Drive the improvement of tools and processes to enhance the Seller Partner experience and drive productivity.
- Enable feature enhancements and new products to improve our service offerings based on seller feedback, data analysis, and feature gaps with competitive products.
- Be a point of escalation for outstanding issues, questions, and concerns
- Mapping and walking the market to generate new leads
Skillset Required :
- Should have 4-5 years of work experience
- Should have experience in D2C market
- Experience in FMCG (Cosmetics, Hygiene etc.)
- Should have a comprehensive understanding of the drivers of growth, profitability, competition, and cash flow.
- Anticipates and meets the needs of both internal and external customers in defined time, delivers high-quality services, committed to continuous improvement.
- Should be a team player & self-motivated while simultaneously guiding the team to achieve the desired results & follow the right SOP
- Must be excellent in account management & Business Development
- Must have keen eye for areas where products can be launched
- Must have fresh ideas to enhance sales & brand the product
- Should be strong in making decision based on data analysis
- Should have managed a team to bring out the best of all members
- Should be proficient in MS Office and structuring Internal & External communications.
