Manager - Business Development - FMCG (1-5 yrs)
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible to drive Top line and Bottom line in alignment with the company strategy and for the respective category.
- Assortment planning through Market visits by understanding buyers insight, seasonality changes, brand and competition strategies.
- Finalizing right mix of supplier/distributors to meet geographical sales demand with periodical review on brand performance and driving vendor relation
- Developing joint plans with suppliers to ensure appropriate investment budget for enhancing category growth and the return on investment for mutual benefits.
- Plan and design the launch of new product line. Monitor and evaluate the success of launches and accordingly plan for shelf space at stores.
- Responsible for Feature (mailer) planning every month and drive events/merchandise through the flexible space available in stores
- Develop quarterly marketing calendar & manage various activations for category development like promoters activity, sampling, mega displays, flyers, and newspaper ads, various seasonal and festive events in line with same.
- Assessing business performance by maintaining tracker to analyze GMV, sales achievement for events, promotions and product launches.
- Coordination with supply chain to ensure vendor fill rates and In-stocks are maintained with minimal working capital, with finance for closing monthly category margins, quarterly vendor reconciliations and with Store Operations for solving customer queries, concerns, and other operational issues
- Drive category growth through innovation and new initiatives.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR :
- Someone who can kick-start thing from scratch
- Taken up city level roles and has people management skills (handled team of at least 10 people)
- Should be preferably an Tier 1 or 2 graduate or from good MBA colleges
- 1-3 years- experience in hardcore field sales/Startups,
