Manager - Business Development - FinTech (7-15 yrs)
Expectations from the Role:
- A methodical approach to understand client's business and supply chain profile by analysing client information in public domain and incumbent sales channels
- Great interpersonal skills to drive engagement externally (with clients) as well as internally (with incumbent client relationship managers)
- Leverage tools to build client management map, to approach relevant client stakeholders
- A "generalist" mindset that exhibits the mental span to understand most of Company's product offerings sufficiently enough to spot opportunities in client's supply chain landscape
- Collaborative approach to drive multiple teams across Company's businesses to deliver on the additional opportunities and thus, the ability to thrive working with a diverse set of colleagues
Ideal Profile:
- Bachelor's/MBA degree, with 7+ years of business development experience with Enterprise Clients, preferably in promoting Trade Finance/SME Finance/Supply Chain Risk management/Payment solutions. Experience with Non-Bank Financial Institutions, B2B FinTechs, Credit Rating Agencies preferred
- Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships with partners and internal teams.
- Driven, highly motivated and results driven.
- Excellent track record in achieving and exceeding business development targets
- Excellent persuasion skills, ability to spot opportunities and go after them with gusto.
- Patience and the ability to tactfully handle customer negotiations.
- Ability to work independently without supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure to deliver beyond target expectations, passion for driving revenue numbers.
- Experience in servicing leading companies is an advantage.
