Manager - Business Development - Export (10-15 yrs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research & Expansion:
- Identify and explore new international markets for company products.
- Analyze global market trends, demand for products, and competitor strategies.
- Develop a clear market entry strategy for each target region or country.
- Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:
- Generate leads and actively seek new business opportunities with international buyers, distributors, and importers.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
- Negotiate and close sales contracts, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
- Sales Strategy & Growth:
- Develop and implement strategies for sales growth in international markets.
- Set and achieve sales targets, contributing to overall revenue growth.
- Monitor and evaluate sales performance to identify areas of improvement.
- Export Documentation & Compliance:
- Ensure all necessary export documentation and regulations are adhered to, including customs requirements, tariffs, and trade laws.
- Work closely with logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient export processes.
- Collaboration & Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal teams such as Marketing, Sales, and Logistics to align strategies and provide support for export activities.
- Provide regular updates on market conditions, sales forecasts, and business opportunities to senior management.
- Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
- Analyze customer feedback and implement improvements to products and services.
