Manager - Business Development - Executive Search/Staffing Firm (5-10 yrs)
About the Role:
We are looking for a Seasoned Business Development Manager who can get us new logos and generate revenue for the company. And has strong industry connections. In this role, primary focus will be on leadership hiring, who can connect with senior executives, C-suite professionals, and industry leaders to understand their talent requirements and offer tailored solutions. This role will involve a combination of sales, client relationship management, and strategic planning to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development:
- Identify and target potential clients in various industries and sectors for leadership hiring services.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and trends in the executive search industry.
- Develop and implement effective business development strategies and initiatives to generate leads and convert them into clients.
- Build a strong network of contacts within the industry to leverage business opportunities and referrals.
- Represent the consultancy at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote services and build brand recognition.
2. Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Conduct regular client meetings to understand their ongoing talent requirements and provide suitable solutions.
- Collaborate with clients to develop comprehensive job specifications and candidate profiles for executive positions.
- Coordinate closely with the research team to ensure the delivery of high-quality candidate shortlists to clients within agreed timelines.
- Provide ongoing support and consultation to clients throughout the executive search process, including candidate assessment and selection.
3. Proposal Development and Negotiation:
- Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the consultancy's capabilities and value proposition.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts and service agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure a smooth transition from business development to project execution.
- Monitor and track client engagement metrics, including revenue growth, client satisfaction, and market share.
4. Market Intelligence and Competitive Analysis:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape in the executive search and leadership hiring domain.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence to identify potential business opportunities and provide strategic recommendations to the leadership team.
- Benchmark the consultancy's services against competitors and identify areas for improvement and differentiation
