Manager - Business Development - EPC Solar (3-6 yrs)

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and driving sales growth by delivering customised solar solutions. This role demands a deep understanding of the solar EPC industry, strong networking skills, and a proactive approach to market development.

Key Responsibilities :

- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and new market opportunities in the solar EPC sector.

- Develop and execute strategies to increase the company's market and presence in the solar industry.

- Identify and approach potential clients, including commercial, industrial, and institutional sectors.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients to foster loyalty and repeat business.

- Deliver customised presentations and proposals based on client requirements.

- Drive the sales process from lead generation to deal closure for solar EPC projects.

- Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs.

- Prepare and negotiate contracts, ensuring terms align with company policies and goals.

- Collaborate with the design, engineering, and project execution teams to provide the best solutions to clients.

- Ensure all projects adhere to local regulations, policies, and safety standards.

- Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. B.tech is preferred.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the Solar EPC or renewable energy sector.

- Familiarity with solar PV systems, energy storage solutions, and EPC processes.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

- Ability to analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.

- Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and market development.
