Job Description For Business Development Manager
Core Competencies:
- Excellent communication skills with an engineering background
- Ability to present solution at the CXO level
- Good understanding of business development at B2B level
- Ability to enter and navigate through large accounts
- Ability to generate and manage leads independently
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
Key Responsibilities :
- To achieve revenue and collection targets on a monthly basis.
- To maintain a healthy and validated database for the territory, mapping all the target customers
- To engage with and meet customers on predetermined field parameters
- To qualify the customer - for need, budget and identifying influencers and decision makers.
- Feed all the relevant details into the CRM platform on a daily basis.
- To map the customer organization in terms of all pertinent data on the client dossier and other tools necessary
- Generate proposal as per template in discussion with the supervisor.
- To Convert all the submitted proposals into orders within the agreed timeframe with the support of the supervisor.
- To maintain a strong funnel
- To maintain customer relationships by visiting them on a frequency determined by the supervisor.
- To ensure collections are made within agreed norms specified in the proposal.
- Map competition in the market and send the relevant information to supervisor/marketing
