Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Institutional Sales, particularly in the areas of Learning Solutions, Examination Solutions, and Computer Hardware/Software sales to Universities and Colleges. If you are a dynamic professional with excellent business acumen, a strong network within the education sector, and the ability to lead a team, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities :
Institutional Sales : Develop and implement strategies to drive sales of Learning Solutions, Examination Solutions, and Computer Hardware/Software to Colleges and Universities.
Client Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with Colleges and Universities, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Team Management : Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and training to help them achieve their targets.
Market Research : Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
Operational Role : Willingness to work in an operational role, including hands-on involvement in the sales process and customer interactions.
Business Development : Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to expand the company's presence in the education sector.
Sales Planning : Create and execute sales plans, setting targets, and monitoring performance to achieve revenue and growth objectives.
Relocation : Willingness to relocate to Vellore, Tamil Nadu, to effectively serve the regional market.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in institutional sales, with a focus on Learning Solutions, Examination Solutions, and Computer Hardware/Software.
- Proven track record of success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation abilities.
- Leadership skills with a demonstrated capacity to lead and motivate a sales team.
- Knowledge of the education sector and a well-established network within Colleges and Universities.
- Results-oriented with a strong customer-centric approach.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
