Manager - Business Development - Education (6-10 yrs)
We are currently retained by a leading education company to hire a Senior BD manager for their Hyderabad location.
The role involves ability to pitch the solution to schools and colleges effectively. It requires consultative selling skills and institutional sales background. These are B2B sales so no B2C candidates would match.
Also please note the client prefers candidates who have been stable in a role and not job hoppers.
Responsibilities :
Plan, strategise and execute by thinking differently to achieve the set goals.
Make power packed presentations to teachers, educators and decision makers in schools, colleges and Government Departments to influence them to adopt path-breaking practices.
Assist her/his team members to negotiate with institutions and complete the closing procedures.
Support the delivery and effectiveness of the programme in the geography assigned and ensure positive feedback by co-ordinating with Trainers.
Has an eye on market trends and executes marketing activities with the support of HO.
Responsible for revenue and collections.
Qualifications :
The ideal candidate:
- Should be a graduate with an MBA in sales and marketing.
- Dynamic, self-motivated person and a quick learner with the ability to plan, strategise, execute and think differently with a social bent of mind.
- Good spoken and written proficiency in English.
- Posses the ability to make power packed presentations to heads of institutions and teachers.
- Due to the nature of work, the applicant must be willing to travel extensively in the assigned territory.
