Work with a trailblazer in the ed-tech company that has grown leaps and bounds since its inception and is a commonly used app among students pan India.
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying sales leads, pitch services to new schools and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts. You will be responsible for the sale of the company's K-12 educational services.
Our client is an education technology (learning) company that has introduced innovative and highly impactful contemporary learning methods through its mobile application. Since its launch, the learning app has seen phenomenal engagement, with over 3.5 million students benefitting from it.
The learning app launched by the company makes use of original content, watch-and-learn videos, rich animations and interactive simulations that, as opposed to rote memorization, makes learning contextual and visual, not just theoretical.
All this is done with the help of a dedicated 500 member strong research and development team working closely together across three specialized verticals and a content creation team drawn from accomplished IIT and IIM graduates.
This is then crafted into an interactive learning experience by a skilled media production house and later, a technology team creates an adaptive platform to give each learner a personalized and fruitful experience.
The other responsibilities will be as follows:
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Conduct research to identify new schools and customer needs
- Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
- Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients objectives
- Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
- Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
- Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing schools
- Develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople
Candidate Profile :
- Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
- Proven sales track record
- Experience in customer support is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Proficiency in English
- Market knowledge
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build rapport
- Time management and planning skills
Experience: 7 to 9 years
Annual CTC: Rupees 6,00,000 to 11,00,000
