Manager - Business Development - Document Management System (3-5 yrs)
Job Title: Business Development Manager- Document Management System
Experience Level: 3-5 Years

Reports To: Vice President/Director.
Position Overview:
- We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Specialist to manage Document Management Solution product.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in selling Document Management Solutions to businesses across various industries.
- The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing key client relationships, expanding our market presence, delivering compelling presentations and demonstrations, and implementing successful Proof of Concepts (POC) of our Document Management Solution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy and Execution:
a. Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends.
b. Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand the client base.
c. Identify, prospect, and qualify potential leads and opportunities in the DMS market.
d. Collaborate with the sales team to ensure comprehensive coverage of the target market.
2. Client Relationship Management:
a. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
b. Understand client requirements and offer tailored DMS solutions to meet their needs.
c. Act as a consultant to clients, providing insights and guidance on optimizing document management processes.
3. Presentation and Demo skills:
a. Conduct engaging and persuasive presentations to articulate the value proposition of our Document Management Solution.
b. Provide live demonstrations of the solution, showcasing its features and benefits to potential clients.
c. Tailor presentations and demos to address the unique needs and challenges of each prospect.
4. Document & Proposal Development:
a. Develop comprehensive product documentation, including user guides, manuals, and technical specifications.
b. Collaborate with the product development teams to ensure accurate and compelling product documentation.
c. Create detailed and customized techno-commercial proposals based on client needs and requirements.
d. Work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate costing and a clear understanding of the technical aspects of the proposed solutions.
5. Proof of Concept Implementation:
a. Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and pain points.
b. Lead the successful implementation of Proof of Concepts (POCs) to showcase the practical application and effectiveness of our Document Management Solution.
c. Work closely with the technical team to ensure seamless integration and customization of the solution during POCs.
6. Sales Closure & Negotiation:
a. Lead negotiations with prospective clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
b. Drive the sales process from initial contact to contract closure, addressing concerns and objections effectively.
7. Product Knowledge and Expertise:
a. Possess in-depth knowledge of the Document Management System and its features.
b. Stay updated with industry trends, competitor offerings, and technological advancements in DMS.
c. Articulate the benefits and competitive advantages of our DMS over others in the market.
8. Sales Reporting and Analysis:
a. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline status.
b. Generate regular reports outlining sales performance, market trends, and opportunities.
c. Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and refine sales strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the Document Management Industry.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Days- 6 working days,2nd and 4th Saturday off
