Manager - Business Development - Digital Media Agency (8-10 yrs)
- As a Business Development Manager a you will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth.
- You will be responsible for identifying, building and nurturing relationships with new clients across Media agencies, OTT platforms, Broadcasting networks, BFSI sector, Automotive sector, E-commerce, Edutainment, FMCG sectors, etc.
- You will also be expected to have a strong connect with Agencies/or build these connects with Mindshare, Madisson, etc
- In short, your role will involve identifying opportunities, pitching our services, and closing deals to meet and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities :
Client Acquisition : Identify and target potential clients within Media agencies, OTT, Broadcasting, BFSI, Automotive, E-commerce, Edutainment, FMCG sectors, etc. Build a robust pipeline of leads and opportunities.
Relationship Management : Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their business needs and provide tailored digital marketing and influencer marketing solutions.
Market Research : Stay updated with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities. Use this knowledge to position our agency as a leader in the industry. Also identify opportunities such as Festive, Sports, Budget availability, etc to generate better pitch conversion.
Sales Presentations : Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing our services and the value we can bring to their business.
Negotiation and Closing : Negotiate terms and contracts with clients, ensuring favorable terms for both parties. Successfully close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
Collaboration : Work closely with our internal teams, including account managers and leadership to ensure that the Client requirements are clearly understood and execution meets relevant timelines/Client satisfaction.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development and sales, preferably within media agencies, radio, broadcasting and/or established record of direct client connections in BFSI, OTT, automotive, e-commerce, or FMCG sectors.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong network and existing relationships within the target industries.
- A history of consistent growth of business size on your past set of Clients.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Results-driven and self-motivated with a proactive approach to sales.
- Knowledge of digital marketing and influencer marketing trends and best practices is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, business, marketing, or a related field is preferred and/ or multiple years of proven experience of Selling across multiple sectors.
