Manager - Business Development - Digital Copier/Document Scanner (5-8 yrs)
Business Development Manager
Candidate will be responsible for selling products like digital copiers and document scanners through channel partners and Government tenders.
Skills Required
- 5-7 years of channel sales and Government Business experience.
- Should have experience in Government bidding process.
- Person should be working for a mid-size / large organization, preferably IT, which has good systems and processes.
- Understanding and experience with government funding, budget and procurement cycle
- Strong relationship and experience to handle Top SI community, Government nodal agency
- Supporting sales team to ensure winning high value opportunities
- Responsible for DMU mapping & penetration at state & local government bodies (State, Central Ministries & PSU)
- Developing account presence by creating high added value working relationship with high level authorities in the Government across state & local bodies
- Representing in government specific conferences, tradeshows and events with presentation and key note
- Transferring & generating opportunities through GeM, Rate contract with local bodies
- Understanding of all GeM/Tenders/RC Order processing
- Deep knowledge in the process of tendering process in State, Central Ministries & PSU
- Demonstrated excellence in giving presentation and arranging demonstration of the products in different government sectors
- Influencing decision makers to Positioning products
- Develop new methodologies to improve the liaison/networking process
- Keep abreast of the latest data/schemes/e governors projects
- Tracking/sharing of Govt plans/schemes
- Willing to travel state/district level
- Revenue generation from assigned vertical - Health & Education
- Building and maintaining healthy business relation with major education institutes, universities, state education departments
- Building and maintaining healthy business relation with major healthcare government & private hospitals, healthcare institutes, local state health departments
- Responsible for creating competitive value proposition in Health & Education government vertical
- Positioning technology, products & Solutions
- Understanding buying process cycle in health & education vertical
- Managing strong relationship with systems integrators to ensure top-down, horizontal penetration into health & education vertical
- Having knowledge of submission process of tender & RFQ
- Demonstrate excellence in giving presentation and arranging POC of products and solutions in different health & education sectors
- Influencing decision makers to Position products
- Building relationship with key influencers in the Health & Education sector across state & local bodies
- Develop new methodologies to improve the liaison/networking process
- Keep abreast of the latest data/schemes/e governance projects - for health & education
- Tracking/sharing of Govt. plans/schemes
- Willing to travel state/district level
