Manager - Business Development - Consulting Firm (3-6 yrs)
- This is a hybrid role for a Business Development Manager to join our dynamic firm. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving business growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, establishing relationships with potential clients, and contributing to the overall success of the firm. Initially, the role will be remote but become hybrid over a period of time with flexibility.
Main Responsibilities :
- Thorough understanding of the market to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Drive top-line growth by signing new client accounts and up-selling, as well as cross-selling to existing accounts.
- Fine-tune the sales funnel to align with changing business landscape to increase conversion rate
- Collaborate with the research team to understand key differentiators to improve the offerings.
- Driving the sales strategy through scalable staffing and training plans
- Ability to work with tight deadlines and aggressive targets
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
- International sales experience in Investment Research - preferably in GCC, Middle East & Africa
- Experience in catering to multiple client segments within investment research, such as, Brokerages, Investment Banks, PE, VC, AM, Consulting firms and Family Offices
- Flexible to adapt to new and dynamic working environments
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus
- Proven track record in business development within the industry, preferably KPO
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets
