Technical business development professional will be broadly responsible for ensuring 100% ash utilization of all thermal power plants of Bajaj Group. Disposing the FLYASH / Bottom ash generated in a sustainable and profitable manner by establishing long term profitable associations with various industry players through supply of fly ash/bottom ash as their input material and as well various stakeholders assisting in logistics of the same.

The Job

Job Description:-

- Identify cement, bricks industry, mines and National Highways under development and other avenues for ASH disposal.

- Own complete responsibility for getting new business for our thermal power plants in Uttar Pradesh for Fly ash, bottom ash and legacy ash disposal as per the margins agreed by the management.

- Identifying mines/low lying to fill with the ash - Calculating the distance and arriving at the costing for the disposal activity.

- Arranging the local approvals for mine dumping from the mine owners and other government agencies including MOEF, CECB, PCB, SDM etc. Arranging quotation from local transporters from power plants to mines/low lying areas.

- Responsible for identifying new buyers like cement plants and bricks plants to enhance the sale/disposal of Silo Ash.

- Responsible for getting the new business of ash disposal to other road projects and other infrastructure projects.

- Manage good relationships with buyers for their short term and long term business needs.

- Manage all administrative activities and official activities thereby maintaining a safe disposal of ash disposal

- Responsible for working closely the operational team (AHP) in a coordinated manner for optimal utilization and dispatch of generated ash.

Ideal Candidate

Desired Candidate Profile:-

- Any Engineering graduate/ Professional Degree with 10 to 16 yrs of experience in ash management.

Excellent relationship with various stakeholders including bricks/cement manufacturers, infrastructure - companies, highway projects execution agencies etc.

- Should have good understanding of managing the FLY ASH /Bottom ash business

- Willing to travel across geographies

- Should have good communication and negotiation skills

- Should have outline technical knowledge of power plant operations with strong commercial acumen.
