Position Title : Business Development Manager (BDM) - Cold Storage Sales
Candidate Profile :
- The ideal Business Development Manager candidate for our Cold Storage Sales team should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, particularly in the cold chain industry. They should hold a minimum graduate degree, aged between 28 and 40 years, and possess expertise in cold chain sales and marketing.
Job Description :
- As a Business Development Manager (BDM) for our Cold Storage division, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our business. Your responsibilities will include:
Lead Generation :
- Generate a consistent flow of leads to ensure a pipeline that is at least 10 times the targeted revenue within the assigned verticals.
Revenue Goals :
- Set and exceed revenue targets through effective sales strategies and client relationship management.
Contract Negotiation :
- Negotiate, review, and finalize contracts with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
Organic and Inorganic Growth :
- Contribute to the organic and inorganic growth of the cold storage business by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
Costing Determination :
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to determine accurate costing for services provided to clients.
Client Feedback :
- Collect monthly feedback from clients regarding the quality of services provided and address any concerns.
Market Intelligence :
- Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and competitors to make informed business decisions.
Receivables Management :
- Oversee and ensure timely collection of receivables from clients.
Operational Coordination :
- Collaborate with the operations team to agree on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to propose to potential clients.
Presentations :
- Develop and update presentations, providing prospects and existing clients with clear insights into our services.
- Deliver sales presentations to both prospects and the company's management.
Sales Tracking :
- Keep track of sales activities on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, preparing and maintaining comprehensive Management Information System (MIS) reports.
Client Communication :
- Maintain consistent communication with clients to understand their business growth and assess future cold chain logistics needs.
Client Records :
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date maintenance of client records and relevant documentation.
Client Queries :
- Address client inquiries promptly and professionally, providing effective solutions.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cold chain sales and marketing.
- Minimum graduate degree.
- Age between 28 and 40 years.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset and ability to assess market trends.
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining client records.
- Ability to collaborate across teams and coordinate operations.
Compensation :
- Competitive CTC ranging from 8 to 15 lakh per annum.
