Manager - Business Development - Coal Transportation (4-10 yrs)
BDM is responsible for developing market for Coal Transportation.
- Require direct experience into customer handling in with large companies and contractors. Sales experience to institutional and corporate customers desirable.
- To achieve targeted number of sales into each segment
- To undertake techno commercial discussions
- To plan and conduct customer engagement activities for prospecting and conversion into sales
- To work with Demo team and plan and conduct demonstrations at customer site and convert prospects into sales closure
- To work with Banks and NBFCs for financial support and designing special schemes to meet customer requirements and close sales deals accordingly
- To identify and interact with industry influencers, super structure manufacturers and related suppliers to develop deep knowledge on the segments to improve penetration and build sales volumes
- To participate into industry seminars, grasp knowledge through online and other sources,conduct research when required and develop deep expertise on the segment, penetrate into new areas, add more prospects and improve sales numbers
- Keeping up to date with products and competitor
- Experience with consultative sales approach
