Manager - Business Development - City Gas Distribution Firm (8-10 yrs)
Business development manager CGD
1) Lead Generation by establishing client contact, attending client meetings and maintaining client relationships
2) Vendor registration as approved Vendor for the CGD companies
3)Tender Finalization
4) Collections
Business Development and Strategies :
1. Create sales strategies for achieving the revenue target of the organization by establishing the right contacts
2. Organizing Presentation meets for presenting the Innovative solutions, offerings, products
3. Organizing client visit at IAPL
4. Establishing rapport with the client by effective Client relationship Management
5. Vendor Registration for IAPL with the client as registered Vendor
6. Keep track and monitor the CGD commercial agreement with the End User
7. Manage sales forecasting, Sales planning for ensuring client visits are effectively planned
8. Client Visits across India into all remote locations wherever the client is situated
9. Identifying the various modes through which the sales leads can be generated.
10. Out of the box thinking to maximise sales.
11. Create sales plan with SMART Goals for the teams to be able to achieve the set targets.
12. Keeping track of the Tenders for identifying opportunities
13. Tender preparation of Tenders and submissions on time with the CGD- s
14. Negotiation and Finalization of orders
15. Payment follow ups and collections.
16. Competitor analysis:
- Month on Month report on products sold
- Market share reports
17. Managing Inside Sales - Lead Generation, Marketing initiatives as and when required including marketing collaterals giving inputs etc
18. Internal order processing &managing Customer PO
19. Contract Bid Management
- Approve or price adjustments for all contracts, taking management consideration as and when required.
Technical :
1. Basic technical know how on Gas Pressure regulating skids and gas metering devices
2. Good application knowledge with regards to Piped Gas Distribution
3. He should be well conversant with the commercial processes of Tendering and order execution in Gas Companies
Qualification and Experience
1. BE Mechanical with 8 - 10 years of total experience, of which 5 - 6 years should be specifically in dealing with CGD companies
2. Should be from Gas distribution Industry - Energy and Utilities / Oil & Gas Industry - Fischer, INL, Rockwin, Vanaz, Nirmal Controls, RPG Raychem, Chemtrols, Telster
- 2 Vendor Registrations Per Quarter
- Revenue Target - 50 lacs for the first year with at least 2 tenders at 2 different gas companies
- 3 Companies visit at IAPL
