Business Development Manager
Duties And Key Accountabilities :
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Build relationships with brands, partners, and vendors
- Evaluate existing partnerships and sales efforts with an eye toward building on what works and changing what does not
- Manage key client relationships and work to build new ones
- Expand the profile and reach of the company and its brands
- Lead sales and client relationship management teams
- Develop and strengthen internal and external relationships that will lead to increased lead generation and market share
- Build cross-functional teams to guide and nourish sustainable, long-term growth
- Track emerging markets and trends
- Foster and work to maintain an entrepreneurial growth culture throughout the company and across all teams and work functions
- Identify and recommend new services
- Propose and develop strategic partnerships
- Help to shape the company's long-term objectives and determine plans on how to meet them
- Research and identify new markets
- Provide advice on product development and distribution and promotion strategies
- Identify sponsorship opportunities, including nonprofit engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors
- Conduct webinars and presentations to raise the brand awareness
- Select prospective vendors and negotiate contracts
- Travel to vendor locations, distribution centers, and other locations
- Fulfill requests for proposals (RFPs) from potential partners and customers
- Maintain and regularly update CRM
Knowledge, Skills, And Experience :
- Experience in agency or brand partnerships is a plus
- Leadership, relationship management, and mentoring skills
- Strategic planning skills
- Knowledge of product and sector
- Financial and business acumen
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Ability to communicate accessibly and concisely about product or service to outsiders, including prospective customers and clients, partners, vendors, and press
- Research and analytical skills
- Lead generation and management experience
- Experience using Salesforce is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field, MBA is a plus
- 4-8+ years of sales experience
- Must have excellent English verbal and written communication skills; Hindi verbal communication is a must
