Manager - Business Development - Channel Sales - Battery (8-15 yrs)
Position: - Business Developer Manager (Channel Sales)
Experience Required: - 8 + Years in domestic Sales (Dealer & Distributors sales of Lithium Batteries, Lead-Acid Batteries, Inverters, UPS).
Ctc- upto 12 lpa (depends on interview)
Working days- 6 days
About the Position: -
We are looking for a young and energetic Business Developer to establish new sales channel for our company products. Business Developer responsibilities include researching new customers, getting new orders, doing strategic alliances, Dealers & Distributors Management, tracking orders and updating order records (e.g. dates, invoices and discounts.) If you're familiar with OEM and Channel sales procedures and know how to create and translate profit analyses, we'd like to meet you.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Dealer/Distributor Network Development:
- Identify, on board, and manage new dealers/distributors across the assigned territory preferably in North Region.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners to drive sales growth by maintaining margins.
2) Sales Planning & Execution:
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Conduct market research to identify potential growth areas.
3)Customer Relationship Management:
- Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions.
- Resolve customer issues promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels.
4) Product Promotion & Training:
- Educate dealers/distributors on product features and benefits.
- Organize training sessions and marketing campaigns to promote products.
5) Market Intelligence:
- Monitor competitors' activities and provide feedback to the marketing and product teams.
- Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and new technologies.
6) Sales Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and market analysis.
- Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports for senior management.
Key Skills Required:
- Proven track record in sales and distribution network development.
- In-depth understanding of lithium batteries, lead-acid batteries, inverters, or UPS systems.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
