Position : Manager - Business Development - Building Automation
The Business Development Manager for Building Automation/Industrial automation domain shall be responsible for driving sales and improving penetration for the identified sub segments under the said domain.
He/She shall be primarily responsible for achieving identified targets for BMS solutions/Industrial automation and improving organization's visibility in the target sub-segments.
Responsibilities :
- Achieve sales targets for BMS solutions/Industrial automation
- Generate relevant RFQs to maintain a healthy pipeline by prioritizing list of existing connects as well as establishing new connects by means of qualifications in target segments.
- Develop communication content for Building Solutions/Industrial automation
- Drive efforts in collaboration with Principal OEM's for :
- Product approvals with consultants and end users.
- Generating, tracking and closing RFQs
- Improve awareness and visibility about the company in building automation domain - including active participation in identified communities/organizations.
- Work closely with internal proposal and procurement teams to ensure on time submission of effective proposals.
Technical Skills and Abilities Required :
- Must have sound knowledge about Building Management Systems/Industrial automation, PLC, SCADA solutions.
- Experience/knowledge about BMS solutions/Industrial automation for critical and large applications such as Data Centres, Manufacturing facilities including Pharma and Infrastructure projects will be considered a clear advantage.
- Ability to prepare effective and appealing communication content (such as presentation decks, emails, LinkedIn messages, verbal communication, etc..)
- Ability to understand client requirement and oversee submission of effective proposals that meet those requirements as well as improve winning chances

Qualifications Required :
- BE, Diploma, MSc (Electrical/Instrumentation).
