DESIGNATION/ TITLE: Business Development Manager - Banking payments solutions

LOCATION - India

Experience- 2 to 5 years in similar role.

Job Location- Bangalore or Chennai - willing to travel to visit customers anywhere in India

Qualification/Experience- Graduate / Masters, preferably in business or IT/engineering, experience of banking/payments industry either as a banker or as a solutions provider plus demonstrable track record in software product sales

OBJECTIVE- Build customer base and increase revenue through sales and deployment of payments products in the banking sector in India.

Responsibilities

- Builds market position by product promotion and locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business deals.

- Contacting and building relationships with decision makers in the banking sector at the director or senior director in IT and operations.

- Accurately qualify sales opportunities and effectively present features and benefits of products and services to build a strong pipeline of new accounts. Coordinate with technical teams to arrange product demonstrations.

- Follow up with detailed commercial proposals and RFP responses highlighting product advantages and compelling business case leading negotiation and closure of sales.

- Constantly seek out new sources of leads e.g. client referrals, arrange seminars, contact local banking organisations

- Collaborate with management and technical teams through sharing feedback from prospects and trend recognition to drive successful campaigns and product development direction
