Designation: Manager - Business Development
Location: Juhu Airport, Vileparle, Mumbai
Reporting To: COO
Role & Responsibilities: -
- Preparation of tender document and costing of Tenders for offshore clients and represent the company in pre-bid meetings and get necessary clarifications throughout the tender process and follow up post submission.
- Plan & initiate action plan to approach and secure new business for the organization.
- Systematically and efficiently call on Key Accounts and report findings and opportunities to the COO.
- Establish and maintain seamless co-ordination & co-operation with all departments of GVHL to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, and client service.
- Maintain a record of all clients and their profile.
- Prepare a monthly schedule to record all sales/ revenue offshore analysis and other related activities for the preceding month.
- Closely observe matters pertaining to competition (Prices, Contracts etc on a regular basis).
- Handle additional responsibilities as & when delegated by the Management.
- Ownership and accountability for specific contracts.
- Ownership and accountability for overall region's performance such as total sales and revenue targets for Offshore helicopter services.
- Develop and maintain regular and consistent partner contact at the various levels at the client end. The Business Development Manager (Offshore) should strive to build strong relationships with all partner and have regular contact with each of them.
- Understand high/low seasonal periods for offshore market and ensure a business continuity plan during low season.
- Get adhoc to commercially viable rate and ensure execution.
- Follow up for payment and agreements.
Requirements:
Education - MBA
Experience : 6-8 years of Marketing/ Business Development experience overall. Minimum 3-4 year's experience in marketing in an airline. Charters (Fixed wings or Helicopters).
