Manager - Business Development - AV Product (5-7 yrs)
JOB DESCRIPITION:
As a Business Development Manager specializing in Interactive Displays and Interactive Flat Panel Displays (IFPD), your primary responsibility will be to identify and capture new business opportunities in the market. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive sales, build strategic partnerships, and promote the adoption of interactive display solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential customers, industry trends, and competitive landscape related to interactive displays and IFPD.
2. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to generate leads, qualify prospects, and close deals. This includes prospecting, cold calling, networking, and attending industry events.
3. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and providing appropriate solutions to meet their requirements.
4. Product Promotion: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop marketing collateral, sales presentations, and product demonstrations to effectively showcase the features and benefits of interactive display solutions.
5. Partnership Development: Identify and evaluate potential business partners, resellers, and distributors to expand the reach and distribution of interactive display products.
6. Competitive Analysis: Monitor and analyse competitor activities, pricing, and market strategies to effectively position the company's interactive display offerings.
7. Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and regular sales reports to the management team.
8. Industry Expertise: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and new product developments in the interactive display and IFPD space.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven track record of successful business development and sales experience in the interactive display or related technology industry.
- Strong understanding of interactive displays, IFPD, and their applications in various sectors such as education, corporate, government, and retail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software, sales tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients, attend trade shows, and industry events.
