Manager - Business Development - Advertising Firm (4-8 yrs)
Business Development Manager
We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our clientele. The profile requires you to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.
Responsibilities :
- Arranging business development meetings with prospective clients
- Identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products and services
- Seek out the appropriate contact in an organisation
- Generate leads and cold call prospective customers
- Meet with customers/clients face to face and over the phone
- Understand the needs of customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet these
- Think strategically - seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
- Work strategically - carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
- Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
- Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
- Promote the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients- objectives
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
Requirements :
- Proven working experience as a business development manager
- Proven sales track record
- Experience in customer support is a plus
- Proficiency in English is a must
- Market knowledge
- Communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build rapport
- Time management and planning skills
- BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field
- An excellent manner for making initial contact and for ongoing communication with customers and business associates
- Outgoing, a professional manner and presentable appearance for meeting customers/clients
