Job Description : FMCG Sales - HoReCa & Retail

Position: Manager/Assistant Manager - Sales

Overview : As a Manager/Assistant Manager the primary responsibility is to drive sales and increase market share for dairy products in the Food service, Hotel, Restaurant and Catering (HoReCa) industry as well as the retail sector. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, achieving sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities :

1. Sales and Business Development:

- New account activation.

- Identify potential HoReCa and Retail customers within the assigned territory and develop strategies to acquire new accounts.

- Conduct market research to stay updated on Industry trends, competitor activities and consumer preferences.

- Present and promote dairy products to prospective customers, highlighting their unique features, quality and benefits.

- Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions of sales contracts to maximize profitability and maintain customer satisfaction.

- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement effective sales and promotional campaigns.

- Monitor sales performance, analyze data and generate reports for management, highlighting achievements, challenges and opportunities.

2. Relationship Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing HoReCa and Retail customers to deliver incremental business.

- Regulary visit customers to assess their needs, address any concerns and provide product training and support.

- Conduct product demonstrations, tastings, and workshops to educate customers and increase product awareness.

- Act as a trusted advisor to customers, offering insights and recommendations on product selection, pricing and marketing strategies.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, supply chain and customer service, to ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery.

3. Market Expansion:

- Identify and explore new business opportunities such as new channels, markets or customer segments to expand market reach.

- Participate in industry events, trade shows and exhibitions to showcase dairy products and network with potential customers.

- Gather feedback from customers and market insights to contribute to product development and improvement.

4. Requirements:

- Graduations or Equivalent course in sales and marketing or a related field (preferred).

- Proven experience in FMCG sales, preferably I the dairy industry, with a focus on HoReCa and retail channels.

- Strong knowledge of dairy products including their production processes, quality standards and competitive landscape.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.

- Goal- Oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

- Analytical skills to interpret sales data and identify trends or opportunities.

- Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
