Job Description :
As a key leadership role, reporting to the Head Alliances, the Sr. Manager/Manager Alliances is accountable for managing 3 critical engagements for the organization
1. Banks: To engage with banks in both Public and the private sector in the coverage area allocated.
2. Billers: Utility companies both in the private and the Public sector domain.
3. Application Service Providers: These are engagements ranging from Banks, Billers to agencies who are in the business of Bill collections at the last mile
Job Description
1. Engage with Banks in the Private sector and the Public sector in the area of allocation for (70%)
2. Have strategic tie-ups with the banks for the enablement of those in the wide network of payment services offered by us.
3. Ensure a higher level of engagements with the banks for the Sell with, Sell to and Sell through Strategies of the company.
4. Key Account Management for Banks on a New Business Opportunities/Enhancements with banks will be a regular feature of the role.
5. Pricing arrangements, Accounts receivables/ Payables management with the banks in the region allocated.
6. Keep abreast of the online payments landscape, competitors and clients needs
7. Issue resolution in relation to online payment product related issues
8. Application Service Providers(30%):
9. Identify and acquire key service providers in the field of Bill Payments including new Banks, Banks currently engaged with competition and Service providers engaged in the last mile bill collections in the area of coverage.
10. Pricing arrangements, Accounts receivables/ Payables management with the banks and service providers in the region allocated.
KPIs will be measured on
1. The number of strategic engagements of Banks/Billers/ASPs in the allocated region.
2. The enrichment of Incremental Revenue in the above engagements.
3. Qualitatively the key account management skills for managing the above engagements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Engineering /Bachelors degree in Engineering/Science /Commerce.
- MBA/PGDBM will be preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of Key Account management/ handling government accounts with the banks/Payment Services companies.
- Strong understanding of the Market of Banks /Government accounts,
- Strong leadership, project management skills, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Experience in leading teams and complex engagements
- Interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with and manage customer expectations (internal and external), and other stakeholders who impact performance.
- Self-empowerment to enable development of open communication, teamwork, and trust that are needed to support performance and customer-service oriented culture.
- Strong oral, written communication, planning, and organizing skills to effectively plan own time and manage assigned projects
- Sales and Marketing skills to effectively determine product strategies and pricing to expand market share
- Business Development skills to effectively segment the target market, gather market intelligence and identify opportunities for TPSL to sell its products
- Commercial Awareness to Understand and apply commercial and financial principles to business thinking.
- Good understanding and application of analytical skills
- Excellent knowledge of operational and systems user requirements for financial and payment products
- Sound understanding of marketing principles, ideally backed with suitable experience
