Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Admission Counselor to join our team.
- The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 1 year and a maximum of 9 years of experience in admissions counseling.
- As an Admission Counselor, you will be responsible for guiding prospective students through the admissions process, providing them with information about our institution's programs, and assisting them in making informed decisions about their educational goals.
Responsibilities :
- Conducting face-to-face interviews with prospective students to assess their suitability for admission.
- Providing detailed information about our institution's programs, admission requirements, and application procedures
- Assisting students in completing their application forms and supporting documents accurately and efficiently.
- Responding to inquiries from prospective students and their parents/guardians via phone, email, or in-person meetings.
- Conducting campus tours and participating in recruitment events to promote our institution and attract potential students.
- Collaborating with other departments such as academic advisors, financial aid, and student services to ensure a smooth admission process for students.
- Maintaining accurate records of student inquiries, applications, and admissions statistics.
- Meeting monthly and quarterly targets for student enrollments.
- Participating in ongoing training and professional development activities to stay updated on changes in admission policies, procedures, and industry trends.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 1 year and maximum of 9 years of experience as an Admission Counselor.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with students and parents/guardians.
- Effective negotiation skills to address concerns and objections raised by prospective students.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM software.
- Flexibility to work a 6-day week schedule.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
