Role Overview :
- The incumbent will be responsible to build productivity of zone, achieve/exceed supply targets. Identify market opportunities and direct team to achieve the set goals. Be strategic and drive business and profitability. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement. Work closely with business teams to inspect process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement.
Know the Function :
- The Independent Hotels team is part of the Domestic Hotel Supply Function and this team manages supply from Independent hotels based across India and has about 40k+ Hotels contracted on our platforms
Key Learnings in this role :
- Drive Sales Strategy, planning and budgeting process for Hotel Supply Network.
- Proactively monitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy and process consistency for the organization's planning efforts.
- Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the organization.
- Recommends revisions to existing reports or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed.
- Directs and supports the consistent implementation of company initiatives.
- Maximize Goibibo & MMT's leverage and contribute to its business agenda at a strategic impact level.
- Influence business and Industry practices by driving innovative ideas, solutions and products through leadership and decisive action.
- Driving efficiency of the Team through effective people management.
Skills you will bring to the table :
1. Relationship and Account Management :
- Identify, Contract and On-board new fleet owners/operators, large regional players
- Ensure Compliance, Training & Adoption of Go MMT systems and Processes by the Fleet Owners &Drivers.
- Account Development
- Ensure both breadth and depth of fleet availability at competitive pricing
- End to end account management and driving sustainable performance of the region
- Handholding, Training & Partnering with the Fleet Operators & Drivers, helping them maximize their earnings, by driving higher adoption of the Fleet management System & Proper Asset utilization
- Ensuring the Fleet Owners & Drivers meet the set Reliability & Customer Satisfaction benchmarking Fulfilment, NPS, and Ratings etc.
- Candidate should be able to multitask & drive multiple activities across his set of fleet operators &Drivers from time to time.
2. Data Analysis and Reporting :
- Tracking the Competitors and Players in the Offline Space to share insights and trends.
- Sharing insights on market and industry with the fleet operators and internal stake holders
- Building MIS & market intelligence reports, preparing geography wise and service wise supply benchmarking and achieving them.
3. Negotiating :
- Negotiation on commercials and competitive pricing with the best in class inventory
- Networking, Deal initiating & closing deal with the fleet operators
4. Team Management

What are we looking for in you ?
Applicant Eligibility :
- Should be currently at a Senior Area Development Manager / Deputy Manager level.
- Should have spent minimum 2.5 years at the above specified level.
- Should have scored 100 out of 120 or more on YTD scorecard for last 2 years.
- Should not have any performance or disciplinary cases recorded in the last 2 years.
