Mahindra Susten - Territory Manager - Business Development (4-10 yrs)
SCOPE OF THE JOB ROLE:
Business Development and Channel Development for Distributed Solar division of MSPL, driving the sales and execution efforts, liasoning with governmental agencies for project permits & project execution, cultivating key strategic relationships
JOB DESCRIPTION (ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES) :
Business Development :
Drive sales of distributed solar offerings through :
1. Territory development- identifying territories, finding potential customers, pitching our offerings and closing deals
2. Liaison with the Govt. and State Nodal agencies
3. Lead the overall sales process and support in project delivery from start to successful completion
4. Build key customer relationships, develop focus customer base
Channel Development :
1. Manage existing channel partners
2. Expanding channel partner network in key areas
Market Expansion :
1. Analyze customer requirements and infer key market trends; stay updated on the central and state policies
2. Attend industry functions and conferences to promote the MSPL business
3. Assess market potential for various distributed solar applications
4. Provide feedback on emerging business trends and best industry practices with a view to refine the business model, delivery and distribution channels
Job Requirements :
Qualification :
Electrical/Electronics Engineer
MBA with specialization in Sales/Marketing
Work Experience :
4+ years of experience, including :
2+ Experience in project sales/ technical sales
Some experience in Solar/Energy/Power industry
Critical Skills -
Electrical/Electronics/ Power background
Articulate, good communication, networking and negotiation skills
Pro-active, able to function independently
Knowledge of local languages a plus
